Thoughts:  We strolling along Lake Geneva when we suddenly saw this oversized fork in the lake.  It was a cloudy day so didn't get the mountains in the background was instead got this beautiful ambient light.

Thoughts:  This shot was taken while watching the birds on the shores of Lake Geneva.  They lingered for a while hovering to catch bread and food scraps from onlooking tourists.

Thoughts:  Using my friend Sonja as my model, we set out to the wooded area behind Almaden Expressway.  With the orange parasol in hand, I wanted to put the focus on her and not the bright green and yellow surroundings around her.  In PhotoShop, I layered the image, taking out the majority of the color around her creating both a warm and cool composition.

Thoughts:  I took this shot as I was dipping my feet in the cool Lake Tahoe water.  It was a warm day but the snow covered mountains in the background gave this image a juxtaposition of summer and winter.

Thoughts:  When I took this shot, I must have went from every angle at various white balance and shutter speed settings.  I finally stood right below the staircase from the bottom floor looking up.  The original image was warmer but found that the fluorescent filter gave it a more erie feel.
